Pachira Aquatica (Braided stem)

Pachira Aquatica needs bright, indirect light. This means it should not be placed in direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. If a bright spot is not available, it can tolerate low to medium light levels, but it may not grow as quickly.

This plant likes to be watered thoroughly but infrequently. It's important to let the top inch of soil dry out between watering so as not to overwater the plant, which can lead to root rot.

While this plant can tolerate lower humidity levels, it does prefer moderate humidity levels. This can be achieved by misting the leaves or placing it near a humidifier.

Pachira Aquatica is not toxic to pets, so it's safe to have around cats and dogs. However, the seeds can cause mild stomach irritation if ingested by children or animals. Therefore, it's important to keep them out of reach of children and pets.
